How does it work. What makes it tick.

Just observe at first. Get curious.

Learn about it - the physical and mental aspects. It has superpowers.

Take care of it. Nurture it.

What did caring for my brain look like this past year?

It started off with cutting out alcohol, sugar and caffeine which cleared my brain enough to start practicing daily mental hygiene which involved: 1) thought downloads, 2) recognizing the thoughts I wanted to change, and 3) changing them.

It also involved getting eight hours of sleep, regular exercise, and quiet time to brainstorm about next steps in my life. Asking myself high quality questions. Simplifying my life.

The result: better access to the powerful tool Mother Nature has bestowed on us, the brain, and it’s amazing capacity to plan, be creative, analyze, solve problems, and live a conscious and deliberate life. What a wonderful gift!
