Schedule Your Free Time First
Are you feeling fried and burnt out by the end of the week? No time left for YOU by the time everything else gets taken care of?
I’d like to offer a pro scheduling tip that has worked well for me and my clients.
Schedule your free time on your calendar FIRST.
This will help ensure that YOU get prioritized throughout the week.
This includes all your non-negotiable self-care time that you get to look forward to throughout the week.
Free time includes things like sleep, eating, working out, family time, date nights, social activities, doctor’s appointments, your kids’ soccer game or piano performance, etc.
You schedule it all on the calendar before you start adding in everything else. It’s your motivation to get everything else done and not procrastinate.
It will also ensure that you are taken care of first so you can be in a position of strength and well-being to show up as your best self in other areas of your life.
Remember that you are important. Your worthiness is innate. You deserve to take care of yourself.
