Read MoreI just returned from a magical week of healing breathwork with author, teacher and healer David Elliot. It was an eye-opening and transformative experience. My heart is full of love. David combines breathwork and his intuitive gift of clairaudient hearing to help you reveal deeply buried histories or beliefs that are holding you back.
Read MoreDo you feel like you are out of control sometimes? Like the desire to eat that pint of ice-cream is just too strong? Like you don’t have a choice?
Most of us think desire is innate, something we either have or don’t have. Like you are attracted to someone or not. But the truth is desire is something we LEARN by repeating it over and over until our brain recognizes it as a pattern and takes it out of our prefrontal cortex where it takes a lot of brain power and moves it back to the midbrain so it becomes automatic.
So your desire for junk food seems involuntary because it’s something you’ve programmed into your mind. It feels intense because of the concentrated REWARD associated with it, a flood of dopamine to your brain.

Are you held back by your fears, waiting around for them to magically disappear someday so you can manifest your dreams?Wish there was a courage pill so you could fast track the process? 😁
Luckily there is a solution: Cultivate courage and take action with fear by your side.
You don’t have to do it alone. I can help you.
Here are 7 steps to get you started:
Are you spending HOURS perfecting your PowerPoint presentation or cover letter? Could you be using your valuable time in a more productive way? Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good. Perfectionism means you’re trying to be perfect so no one can judge you, reject you or point out that something you did is wrong. The truth is people are going to judge and reject you know matter what you do - you can’t control what people think.
Do you feel disorganized and distracted while working from home?
You’re not alone. It’s the number one complaint I hear from moms these days. We mamas prioritize everyone else but ourselves. We run ourselves thin, leaving ourselves unsatisfied and unfulfilled.
The first step in reclaiming your time is taking an honest look at your foundational thinking (your primary thoughts) around work and work-life balance.
Read MoreTwenty months ago I stopped drinking (October 2018). No one would have called me an alcoholic back then, but I felt like an over-drinker. I’d generally have 1-2 full glasses on weekdays and 2-3 on weekends. At the same time, my body was screaming at me with almost daily tension headaches or migraines.
I managed my headaches by practicing yoga in the mornings, jogging, eating healthy, downloading with girlfriends, hiking in nature, and escaping from the city when I could. Let’s just say I developed a really high pain threshold over time.

If only they would say “thank you” more often and recognize our heroic efforts, THEN we’d feel better, appreciated or at the very least be less angry. Sound familiar to anyone?
But here’s the hard and liberating truth. Other people can’t affect our feelings. We are responsible for our own feelings. It’s our job to feel better if that’s what we want.
Read MoreMany of us think that there is something wrong with us when self-doubt rears its ugly head in our lives. It makes us question our capabilities, doubt our value and robs us of our dreams.
New flash: nothing could be further from the truth. Even the most successful people in the world struggle with self-doubt! (Take Serena Williams for instance! She is a world class tennis player but she still experiences self-doubt too.) It is a normal part of the human experience. The difference between those of us who move through it successfully and those who don’t is what we make it mean.
Read MoreConstraint: a limitation or restriction we put on ourselves to simplify our lives and focus on what is most important!
It sounds easy but it can be seriously challenging to reign in our interests. FOMO anyone?!?
Many of us cringe at hearing the word constraint because we have a phobia of missing out. We have so many things we want to do (or feel like we must do). But following that calling can send many of us into overwhelm pretty quickly - a complaint I hear often from my clients.
Read MoreOf all the emotions on the planet to choose from, which one would you choose to feel most often?
I choose love because it feels amazing!
It is interesting that so many of us choose hate in the world today given that love is available to us anytime we want. How? Because our thoughts create our feelings. It takes practice, but the choice is available to us.
